The story of Nepal's first premium Himalayan kiwi wine

Tinjure Bagan was created with a vision to transform the abundant kiwi harvests of eastern Nepal into a premium wine that represents the Himalayan landscape.

Established by Basantapur Tinjure Beverages Pvt. Ltd. in Marek, Dhankuta, the project focuses on value-added agriculture and sustainable rural development.

By combining traditional farming knowledge with modern fermentation technology, the winery produces distinctive fruit wines that capture the natural character of Himalayan kiwi.

Our journey began with a simple observation: the hills of eastern Nepal produce exceptional kiwi fruit, yet much of this harvest went to waste or was sold at low prices. We saw an opportunity to create something extraordinary.

Today, Tinjure Bagan stands as Nepal's pioneering kiwi wine brand, bringing together the best of Himalayan agriculture with artisanal winemaking craftsmanship.
